- Stay home if you have symptoms of any contagious illness including respiratory, GI and other conditions which can spread to others.
- Masks are welcome and not currently required.
- Vaccination is encouraged and not currently required.
- If you have been exposed to someone with a respiratory illness including Covid OR you have tested positive for a respiratory illness including Covid: Do not return to our events until you have satisfied all on the current recommendations of the CDC. These change, but they can always be found here

Monthly Sunday Meetings
Typically held in Belmont, MA on the first Sunday afternoon, October through May. Instructional workshops are presented by the area’s best-known teachers and performers. All levels, instruments and ages are welcome. Free to members, walk-ins pay a small fee. Visit the Sunday Meetings page for more info
Third-Wednesday Evening Jam Sessions
Come jam with us at the Canadian American Club in Watertown on the third Wednesday evening of each month. These sessions are open to the public and we request a donation at the door. We’ll be playing all of the favorites from Scotland and Cape Breton. All instruments and ages welcome. Go the the Session page of the website for details.
Boston Scottish Fiddle Orchestra
The performing arm of the Club holds weekly rehearsals and welcomes all levels, ages and instruments. Music Director Neil Pearlman provides arrangements, conducts many of our rehearsals and has overseen production of two CD recordings.Go the the Orchestra page of the website for details.
Archives from over 50 workshops over the last 4 years
When the world shut down due to the pandemic in March 2020 the fiddle club began holding the Sunday Meetings on Zoom. We also ADDED a series of Zoom workshops on Monday afternoons with famous fiddlers in Scotland, Canada and other parts of the U.S. This was a great way to learn from the greats and provide them with a teaching opportunity. We now have an treasure trove of these Zoom workshops, including Zoom videos, audios, sheet music and teacher recordings in the Archives. This is available to Members Only.
